Why Taw Valley?

The River Taw runs from Dartmoor to the Bristol Channel passing through just one urban centre, Barnstaple, where Taw Valley Telecoms was formed.

Main aim?

The main aim when setting up Taw Valley Telecoms was to create a company that wasn't focussed simply on making money. Bad customer service is something that annoys us all and we wanted to create customer service that was second to none. Our companies size is an advantage over some of the huge call centres and gives us the chance to create better customer service. Time and time again people who move to us from larger call centres comment on how much they prefer our approach to their custom.

Vision for the future?

Taw Valley Telecoms has seen changing times even in the short life of the company so far. We are moving to 24/7 service with full multi-site redundancy. This is a key part to the companies growth and by having full second site redundancy gives us an edge over our competitors.
